Q&A: Looking for neighborhood security?

I am hunting for a pretty respectable neighborhood safety program. I would like it to all be wireless and have a DVR back at the main home. The neighborhood runs for about 1000 feet prolonged, so i will need cameras that can deliver a signal that far. I am looking for about 9 cameras, it's possible a lot more if the value isn't to higher. Does anybody have any ideas?

I have already looked at like homesecuritystore.com but did not uncover anything in there that seemed to function.

wow buddie what you require is alot of routers and laptop or computer gateways, or a site, this is how it performs, you have a server and all of the cameras will send there info to that web server and from there your capable to entry it, or have computer systems along the route way and related to a network from which your capable to control them all and see what the digital camera are seeing, yet another way is to try and locate powerfull wi-fi but i don't know if you can uncover that,
