What do I do to be able to use a surveillance camera through a window?

Query by Bella: What do I do to be in a position to use a surveillance camera by way of a window?
I just purchased a Uniden Wireless Protection Program this afternoon, and it worked great when pointed out the window, but as soon as it acquired dark there was a enormous round glare spot on the keep track of. I need this surveillance to operate simply because last weekend my motor vehicle was vandalized and I just had it re-painted and I do not want this to take place yet again. Any sincere ideas as to how to lessen/get rid of the glare? Thanks!!
I consider I figured out why... The only annoyance is that Uniden didn't think to place a switch to turn the I/R illuminator OFF which would arrive in actually useful if you wanted to mount the camera indoors seeking out via a pane of glass. In this circumstance the I/R illuminator reflects off the glass right away in front of the camera rendering the image useless so both plan to use this digital camera Outside or INDOORS but not INDOORS Seeking Outside.

Very best solution:

shut off all of your lights and that should decrease the glare
