Q&A: Saving security camera video to a hard drive.?

Issue by Brandon O: Conserving security camera video clip to a challenging drive.?
I have a tough drive that is hooked up to my wireless router as a storage drive. I want to get a motion sensor light, and a safety digital camera to check my driveway. What would be the best way of obtaining a security camera to be capable to preserve the video it information to the hard generate that is related to my wireless router? I want to be able to quick ahead via the nighttime footage and cease it when I see the movement sensing light arrive on (therefore, a person is close to my driveway/vehicles). What is the best affordable (>$ 180) setup that I could complete this with. I have searched all more than amazon.com and a few other sites and have identified the SVAT CV31 with great evaluations, but no a single mentions saving the video to a tough generate. Thanks in advance.

The SVAT CV31 has a RCA video Output. You want to have a recording device for that, like a DVR system set-up.

Or, use a wireless cam (see website link for 1 this sort of unit)
