Dear everyone with expertise in law, human rights, or law enforcement:

i dwell at in a gated local community/region club in the Midwest (please dont judge), and i am eighteen. i have been arrested/convicted zero times, and have recieved one warning ticket from a police officer. bona fide university student, bla bla bla...

the friendly local police force has lately deemed the teenage population of the community to be out of manage. they have given that hired one particular a lot more on-duty officer and another on-duty "security" officer.

the police have a bottomless spending budget. we now have 2 24/7 on duty officers and three portion-time "protection officers". the police, i will say, are acceptable i suppose. but i swear if you stage out of your home, and are between fifteen-twenty, you will be followed right up until you achieve your destination, and then watched at a distance for a great 50 percent hour before the security guards move on.

but what really ruffles my feathers is that the other day i was on my boat with some close friends, just coasting along the shore line of the lake. i am surprised to hear a single of my pals say, "holy sh*t, is that a digital camera?" it was. brand name new, wireless Cisco inter-community security monitoring technique. we have considering that identified at minimum 5 far more in the woods, and there are bound to be more.

they did all of this without consulting metropolis council. or perhaps they did, but never informed the group. i just turned around a single day to see that i was currently being filmed.

so fundamentally i want to know, is not this a gross invasion of my privacy? possibly the being hounded and stalked by the "security" guards on the community's payroll, or the numerous dozen security cameras scattered during a variety of community hotspots, forests, and street corners. HOW ILLEGAL IS THIS?? and can my family members and the family members of my pals consider action to make sure our every movement is not currently being watched by massive brother?
