I reside out in the country and have had a "neighbor" steal some of my stuff from a barn quite a distance from my residence. The police dept mentioned I ought to get some battery powered movement sensor alarms for within my home and deer cameras for the barn...any idea in which I can get some reasonably priced one's? I would most likely need infared for the cameras and i'm thinking some sort of silent movement alarm that would trigger a signal in my residence. I stay in NC by the way. Thanks!

video clip cameras are extremely lower frequency sensitive, so infrared light will glimpse like daylight.
I would suggest a "game camera" that utilizes IR flash.
the motion will result in the camera to consider a image, and the IR flash will not be observed by the negative guy.
