i have the dv9700t from hp... it has greater specs than this one... has 512 video clip card, 4gb ram, two.5 core two duo and a lot more... i can run most video games... i would not dare check out crysis... possibly on lower settings, but def not higher... i can operate unreal tournament 3 on medium settings... cod4 on medium settings... it is good for gaming, but however, not the biggest. I have a desktop with worse specs than my laptop computer and my desktop can play the video games on large settings at greater framerates...
