Q&A: Security Camera - No Video to Monitor?

Query by Jose D.: Security Digital camera - No Video clip to Keep track of?
I have a TOA C-CV24-two mini dome digital camera. The camera Powers on but i get no video clip. Here is how i set it up.
one. The Digital camera has a BNC output. I have a BNC Connector (operating on COAX) on the digital camera, and the other stop of that cable is terminated as typical COAX like you get from the Cable Organization to connect from the cable box to the CABLE/Antenna connector of a Tv.
two. I am not seeing any photograph on the tv, i really see a photo but it took me three days to comprehend there was image bc it was virtually not visible, as if it werent working.

My issue is: does this digital camera call for a DVR to operate, or does any person have any low cost tips of how i can make this function. The program is to connect the camera to a COAX splitter to see the photo on two TV's in the place.

Here is the manual http://www.toaelectronics.com/cctv_cameras_dome_C-CV24-two.asp
i have named the business and they suggested that the problem is since i want a digital signal and that television is not digital, make sure you support.

thanks

Hello, Going direct to a F connector ( like cable connection ) on the again of the television will not work the impedance is wrong. You will need an RCA ( the red, yellow white plugs) to connect right to a Tv. You can get an adapter at most electronic places.

So it could work for you to get a converter / adapter to RCA and then set the Television input and you will see the photo on the Tv use a y splitter on the end to go to 2 places. You can also get a BNC to RCA and transform the F connector(screw plug) to bnc on both ends of your cable. Lengthy distance cables, like over one hundred feet might demand boosters to get the signal to appear via.

OR
you can get whats known as an rf modulator this will adjust the signal from the camera to permit for immediate connection to a Television F connector. This form of unit is utilized in a lot of apt buildings so each and every resident can see the digital camera from the front door. A modulator typically utilizes a further or empty cable channel.

Hope this helps
great luck
