I really don't head the video wire (non wireless) but I don't want to have to operate two wires if possible. Until it really is not feasable to run the digital camera with a battery. Is there a cam that utilizes the video wire as the power supply?

There are no cameras that don't require a strength source. However, there are cameras that have a cable that brings together the electrical power and video signal cable into a single cable. I have two myself.
