Q&A: Please suggest some LONG range wireless security cameras for neighborhood?

Question by Kosh: Please propose some Extended range wireless protection cameras for neighborhood?
We're seeking into some wireless video survellience cameras for our subdivision.

What I'm hunting for, ideally, is a receiver station which can recive the signals from several cameras so we can add on later (possibly starting with 2-3 cameras perhaps up to 4 or six later on).

I see a good deal of expensive cameras with a 100' and at times 1000' line-of-sight range but our requirements are no much less than 1000' obstructed. Ideally we'd like to get a practical 2000' variety technique.

We're on a very restricted price range and do not will need the fancy pan-and-tilt or zoom features just a respectable top quality cam with a extended range wireless capacity.

We'll use a pc with video clip capture card to file the signal after the receiver. So any suggestions for DVR / capture cards and/or software is also appreciated. Nonetheless the most urgent need for information is on the cameras.
Thank you for hyperlinks or whatever.

We genuinely don't have a certain spending budget proper now. We're primarily attempting to find the bottom line how much a wireless technique of this nature would expense. Correct now the limiting factor would seem to be wireless array (which is quite limited even on cameras I've witnessed cosing around $ one thousand)
Intel, not confident what the 2 cost ranges are you supplied but I am looking at the backlinks, making an attempt to uncover the greatest resolution.

Rachael, we're in Central Florida. Tons of rain/humidity but no snow.

As for assortment, I visualize we could function with 1000' as prolonged as that was a solid 1000' via a neighborhood with trees and this kind of (but over the tops of houses).

Observe: We have cable and telephone lines running via the total place. Not positive if we could use these. Issue is we don't want to depend on continued cooperation from residents (folks occur and go).
